My friend and my brother and I are home alone, and I just had a kitchen fire! HELP!!!!?
My friend and I where on Yahoo! Answers and I went to go get something to eat in the kitchen. I smelled smoke. I looked in the oven and I saw that my brothers pizza he was making had caught on fire. (This happend two minutes ago) And I screamed my brothers name and I got the fire extingusher and my brother called my mom. I didn't know how to work the fire extingisher so my mom told me to pour some water on it. We put the fire out and we've opened up all of the windows in the house. if this happend to you, what would you do? Do you know anything else we should do now? It's still REALLY smokey in here.

You need to IMMEDIATELY turn OFF the air conditioner if it is running, that will simply spread the smell of the smoke and contaminate the air filters. Open ALL the windows and doors that you can and get as many fans going (point them OUT of the house) and run them as much as possible. You will need to clean the oven as soon as it is cool enough to do so. The next thing you to do for the future is learn to operate the fire extinguisher. If you can get those windows and doors open though, you should be fine. Then check the oven and surrounding areas for smoke and burn damage.
