Firex G-18 smoke detectors.?
I have 5 detectors wired together on 3 levels. They are 110V AC operated, but have started to beep once every few minutes as a battery operated unit with a weak battery would do. I have cleaned them but still the same. The house is 15 years old. Do they have a life span?
They need to be replaced about every ten years.
